The People's Hi-Tech Army's Galveston location is here for those who want reputable, budget service and low cost computer equipment. We feel that there is no equal to the value for our customers.  If that weren't crasy enough, we also offer memberships, with discounts on our already ridiculously low prices!

We frequently run into situations where someone paid another company more just to show up for work (travel fee) than our entire bill runs for the same job. We also hear nightmare stories from customers who elected to hire a 'Fly-By-Night" tech, working from his garage, who lost all their data. Please don't hire these people, getting reputable service doesn't have to break the bank or require you to hire techs who cut corners and/or have no experience. These people will only cost you hard earned $$$$.

We also can provide you with most PC hardware and software at a substantial discount over local retail competitors. If it's not in stock, we can usually get popular items in a day, with other items usually taking about three days. Please don't hesitate to call us, we can save you money.

Diagnostics & Full System Backup

Every PC entering our store for repair receives comprehensive diagnostics and a complete system backup before any work will begin on the computer. Thanks to this system, we have never lost anyone's data. We also identify problems that may soon plague your machine after you leave our store. If we do not find anything wrong, you can have the confidence that your machine is still performing as it should.

Following the comprehensive diagnostics, we can fix your computer. We charge for bench time in the shop, inquire about our current rate when you call. Unlike On-Site service where the clock starts the moment we arrive, bench time is only allocated while we work on your computer. If we are waiting for something like a backup or virus scan, we do not bill for that time. This results in HUGE SAVINGS over having us come out to your home or business. Pickup And Delivery

For customers that wish to take advantage of our cheap in-store bench time rate, but that do not wish to lug their PC to the computer shop we offer to pickup and deliver your computer back to you.  A small fee may apply for this service. [Top]

On-Site Service

There are a few things that just have to be done on-site, and for those we offer on-site service.  It's also more convenient and expedient.  Some diagnostics and other standard shop procedures may be abbreviated to reduce the time required on-site. [Top]

Computer Rentals

We offer refurbished and used computers for rental.  Prices are lower for members and for those with longer term contracts. [Top]

Game Console Repair

We do limited repairs to game console systems.  Sony PlayStation, PlayStation2, PlayStation3, Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo WII, others. [Top]

User Training

We are lucky to have a Galveston College Professor on call for us.  There is also a classroom at the driving school next door.  We hope to add many classes to our schedule in the near future. [Top]

Computers and Computer Parts

We stock a few new items and maintain a supply of refurbished or tested pulls in our shop.  Most parts can be ordered from Houston and if early enough in the day, arrive in only 1 day.  We have access to other national suppliers that have broader inventory, but the fastest shipping time from them is two days. We are also able to order new game systems, but find we are not able to beat the street yet. We can do better on the cartridge games though.

We also stock refurbished off-lease computers and monitors.  These items are in limited supply though and availability is spotty.
